After more than two decades in banking finance, John Schoonbeek’s fork in the road has led to a challenging and rewarding career that has married family and success. When a sales role piqued his interest, John left banking and Denis Goodsell offered John a position selling real estate in an established Central Coast Peninsula agency. Juggling studying two nights a week to gain his licence, raising three young boys with his wife Raelene, and building a new house, John earned his stripes, and upon his retirement, Denis offered John the purchase of the agency.
Working with his sons Josh and Luke, he has forged an enviable track record and a reputation for integrity that as built a successful agency founded on old fashioned values and hard work.
When he is not utilising his finely honed skills to the benefit of his clients who value his particular expertise in strata management, John is a boatie at heart. When he is not on the water, he is looking for it, with a love of taking his caravan on the open road. He enjoys his garden and his grandchildren very much, and the 1964 EH Holden he restored is testament to his patience and commitment.
